Job summary

Keyline Care in Loughborough is seeking compassionate Support Workers to help adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex behaviours live independently with dignity and safety.

You will assist with daily living tasks, support personal growth, and follow person-centred plans in a friendly team. The role is full-time (36 hours) with weekend and bank holiday shifts.

Full in-person training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a support or care role.
• Experience with individuals with complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
• Strong communication skills and emotional resilience.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence, dignity and respect at all times.
• Support daily living activities including medication, meals, budgeting, household tasks and personal care.
• Encourage social inclusion and confidence in the community.
• Monitor and promote individuals' physical and mental wellbeing.
• Follow and implement person-centred support plans.
• Support individuals with personal goals.
• Use training to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
• Work with your team to maintain high-quality support.
• Maintain accurate daily records, reports and incident forms.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or over.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must be able to speak and understand English to a good standard for effective communication, record-keeping and safeguarding the wellbeing of those you will be supporting.
