Job summary

Community Integrated Care in Inverness is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred support for a gentleman with learning disabilities. The role offers guaranteed hours and a permanent contract, with shifts across early and waking nights.

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting one gentleman with a learning disability and bipolar disorder to live his daily life. The person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best life possible with him.

Our Shifts:

8am - 8pm | 8am - 8am the next day (includes sleepover 8am-10am) | 8pm - 8am (Waking night)

Shift Requirement:

Variable shifts each week with some weekend work required

Contracts:

15 or 36, hour permanent contract

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be supporting this young man to live his daily life in the way he wants to live it. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including:

• Supporting with personal care
• Medication Administration
• Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping, planning routines and budget management
• Daily activities - anything and everything the person we support likes to do is something you might provide support with! So come ready and willing to put yourself out there and support with karaoke, dancing, going to gigs, movie nights and watching football (he's a big Man Utd fan!)
