Real Life Options Group is looking for a Support Worker for waking nights in Ilkeston, UK. The role covers 36 hours per week on a permanent basis, with a night shift from 10pm to 7am and a salary of £12.71 per hour.
You will support individuals with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs, following care plans, managing small expenses, and administering medication. A DBS check is required and a pension/holidays are provided where applicable.

Real Life Options provide support to people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
We provide individualised support packages and promote independence to enable people to live a happy fulfilled life within their own homes. The purpose-built accommodation is made of individual apartments and purpose-built bungalows.
The service comprises of 12 apartments for people with mild learning disabilities, 4 bungalows for individuals with higher complex needs and 4 bungalows for people who display behaviours of concern.
You will be supporting individuals in their own homes to live as independently as possible, this involves;

A rewarding part of the role will be encouraging participation in activities in the local community to enhance social inclusion. Seeking new opportunities for the growth and development of the people we support which could include volunteering roles and further education access.
Working on a rota, you will be required to work weekends, evenings, bank holidays with planned time off.
Flexibility to cover any of these shift patterns over the 7 day weekly period is essential
An Enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
