The Avenues Trust Group is seeking Support Workers in Walton-on-Thames to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs in a busy community-based service. Training is provided and prior social care experience is not essential.
A full UK driving licence is required; role is 39 hours per week, full-time, with a salary of £25,845 per annum pro rata and benefits including DBS, pension, and career progression opportunities.

Full UK Driving License essential - Be willing to drive service vehicles so the service users are able to access the community.
This busy service has 6 individuals all who have differing needs including learning disabilities along with Asperger's, Autism, Epilepsy and Mental Health conditions. This is a service where there are behavior's that challenge but training is provided, and you also will provide support to all individuals via shared support and on a 1 to 1 basis. The service users have various activities that they attend with staff support, these include Snoozelum, Nova Club, in house arts & crafts and cookery sessions, aromatherapy as well as house trips and holidays.
