36 hours per week, plus the opportunity for overtime to cover staff sickness and holidays. Rotas are produced a month in advance. The normal shift pattern is 12-hour shifts, days and nights 9am – 9pm and 9pm - 9am, and 6-hour shifts on some weekdays during term time 3pm – 9pm.

The role will also involve maintaining accurate records and documentation, undertaking regular training competency updates and carrying out light household duties relevant to the role. There may be occasions where support is required within a hospital setting.

You're caring, patient, reliable and calm when under pressure, with the ability to remain organised and flexible to changing needs. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be observant to subtle changes and non-verbal cues.
Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Car drivers with a full driving license are essential, and candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
