Job summary

Agincare Group in Bordon is seeking Female Support Workers to join our team, delivering person-centred outcomes for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs. The post is restricted to female applicants to comply with the Equality Act 2010.

As part of the role you will support living, independence, personal care, routines, meals and budgeting, while encouraging community participation and effective communication. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• 12 Months Experience in Support Work.

• Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
• Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
• Communicating effectively using people’s chosen methods.
• Engaging, promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life.
• Specialising in supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches.
• Recording keeping accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
• Team player: Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.

Where you’ll be working:

Bordon

We support to our clients living within central Bordon and also providing outreach in this area.

Offering supporting living, encouraging and enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and accessing the local community & facilities.

We are looking for Female Support Workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.
