Job summary

Vibe Care Agency in Dorchester is seeking experienced support workers to assist adults in supported living services. This zero-hours role fits around other commitments, with shifts including day and night blocks. Sleep-in duties at £75 apply; BH enhancements available.

DBS update service preferred and driving is a plus. Applicants should understand learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, and be able to work as part of a team or independently, promoting rights and dignity and following

Job description

Vibe Care Agency are seeking experienced Support Workers to support Adults in supported living services in the Dorchester area. This is a flexible role (zero hours) to fit around any other commitments you have, working with a well established agency & service provider.

This role is not suitable for anyone seeking sponsorship

This role is supporting adults either living on their own or in shared accommodation within supported living services.

Pay Rates £13.15 - £14.00 enhancement for BH working. Sleep-In rate £75.00

Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex behaviours & complex health support are essential however additional training can be provided.

Shifts vary depending on the individual services: example - 08.00 - 20.00, 07.30-14.30 / 14.30-21.30, 20.00-08.00 / 22.00-07.00 (sleep in & waking night shifts)

We are looking for:

• Experienced support workers
• Knowledge & understanding of learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
• Experience working in a similar role supporting adults
• Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
• Ability to promote individual choices, rights & dignity
• Understanding behaviours that challenge
• Able to follow individual care plans & risk assessments, promoting person centered support
• Support with daily activities e.g. community access, cooking, laundry, cleaning etc.
• Happy to support with person care if required
• Enhanced valid Child & Adult DBS on the update service
• Able to drive & have access to a vehicle - desirable
