Job summary

Agincare in Devizes, Wiltshire is seeking an experienced Senior Support Worker to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality support. You will split your week between hands-on care and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure the service runs smoothly.

You will support up to 38 people across 7 bungalows, with opportunities for career development, funded training, and a pension. A full UK driving licence and Level 2 Health and Social Care are required, with progression to Level 3 encouraged.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification required; willing to progress to Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence by supporting people to participate in communities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care, routines, meals, and budgeting.
• Communicate effectively using individuals' preferred methods.
• Engage and motivate people to improve quality of life.
• Provide positive behavioural support where needed.
• Keep accurate records and report changes to management.
• Work well in a team and on own initiative.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Wiltshire service based in Devizes, helping to oversee and deliver high-quality support. You will report into the Registered Manager, splitting your time between hands-on support and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure our service runs smoothly. This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.

About the people you’ll be supporting:

We support up to 38 people living across 7 bungalows in the heart of Wiltshire, just outside the market town of Devizes. This is a unique service within Wiltshire offering supporting living, enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local community. We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

Where you’ll be working: DEVIZES

This is a full-time role where your week will be split between providing direct support on shift and also completing leadership and administrative tasks.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work

• level 2 in Health and Social Care and willing to work towards level 3
