Job summary

CYGNET is seeking a confident Night Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities at The Fields in Sheffield. You’ll work 42 hours per week on night shifts (20:00–08:00), delivering person-centred care and supporting daily living activities.

You’ll communicate effectively, work well in a team, and maintain a safe, clean environment while safeguarding responsibilities and reporting medical or welfare needs as required. DBS check will be completed.

Qualifications

• Confident night-time carer with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Sensitive and intuitive, providing energy for a trusting and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe and clean environment.
