Job summary

Forevermore Care in Crewe is seeking a dedicated Support Worker on a full-time, 42-hour contract with day shifts to assist clients with daily activities and community engagement.

You will promote independence, support mental wellbeing, work in a team to provide person-centred care, and monitor healthcare needs including medication and temperature checks.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in the care sector is beneficial due to support requirements.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is ideal.
  • A thorough training and induction programme will be followed to ensure you feel prepared to undertake duties.
  • Pre-existing knowledge on safeguarding and person-centred care is welcome.
  • A kind, holistic and compassionate approach.
  • Willingness to work as a team and deliver exceptional care and outcomes.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

Forevermore care is a supported living provider for young adults and adults who have various complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and mental health needs. We are currently recruiting for a full-time, Support Worker, to support our client based in Crewe.

This is a full-time position, 42 hour contract, day shifts.

Role requirements:
  • Assisting our clients with their daily activities, including household tasks, finances, meal preparation, personal care and going out into the community.
  • Promoting independency and positive encouragement.
  • Supporting our clients with their mental wellbeing.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.
  • Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs, including administering medication and temperature checks.
