Job summary

Potens is seeking a dedicated support worker to join our service in Llandudno Junction. You will support adults with diverse needs, promoting wellbeing in a residential setting for up to 8 adults.

The role requires compassionate, flexible individuals who can work mornings, lates, weekends, and cover wake nights as needed, delivering high-quality care and positive support at all times.

• The people we support are adults aged between 18 and 65 years of age who may have a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Difficulties
• Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive well-being.
• Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
• Creating a safe and happy place where those we support can receive excellent care and positive support.

We are looking for a support worker to join our Service in Llandudno Junction.

What you’ll be doing:

• This is within a residential service for up to 8 adults located in the village of Mochdre.

Who you are:

• Able to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
• Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
• Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure
• Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
• Flexible, as shifts are on a rota basis and can be mornings, lates, weekends and covering wake nights when required
