Potens in Birkenhead is seeking a Female Support Worker to join our residential service. You will support adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs, building relationships, promoting independence and well-being through one-to-one and group activities.
The role requires flexibility, weekends, and a proactive attitude. Prior care or support work is essential; we offer a pension, learning opportunities (levels 2-5 NVQ in Health & Social Care), and access to exclusive staff benefits.

What you’ll be doing:
The people we support are adults who may have learning disabilities, behaviours that are challenging, and/or mental health needs.
Support 1-1 and continue to promote positive well-being.
Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
Maintain and develop their community links, as well as access community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills.
This is within a busy, vibrant residential service.
Who you are:
Able to work independently, multitask, organise and prioritise work to suit the people we support.
Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
Willing to be flexible as shifts can include weekends.
Experience in care or support work is essential.
Ability to execute and deliver, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure
Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
