Job summary

Potens is seeking a Male Support Worker for our service in Telford to help promote independence and enable service users to access the community. This is a 1-1 support role in an adult-supported living service with 13 residents, each in their own flat.

You will provide personal care when needed, support daily activities, and build positive relationships with residents, working 40 hours per week at £13 per hour with a contributory pension and employee assistance program.

What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll support on a 1-1 basis, promoting independence and encouraging the people we support to access the community.
• Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs.
• Personal care will be required.
• Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are.
• This is within an adult-supported living service of 13, and they all have their own self-contained flat.
