Voyage Care in Welshpool is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people grow independence and confidence in daily life. You’ll join a hands-on team in our supported living service, enabling activities, personal care, and community access across a dynamic environment.
No prior experience is required; a caring attitude and willingness to learn are key. A full UK driving licence is preferred and Welsh language skills are a plus.
Support Worker – Welshpool - £13.45 ph
Typical Shifts are: Mornings 08:00-15:00 & Afternoons 15:00-22:00 (nights and sleeps ins to be covered when needed)

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our supported living service in Welshpool is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
Fluent Welsh speaking Desirable (advantageous but not required).
You don’t need to have experience to be a fantastic Support Worker, what you need is a passion for enhancing the quality of life for the people we support, a desire to learn and a genuine caring attitude. Support Workers should hold a full UK driving licence
