Job summary

Nightly, Cygnet Group is seeking a compassionate Day Support Worker for the Nightingale site in the UK. This full-time role offers 42 hours weekly on 12-hour day shifts, helping adults with autism and learning disabilities live independent and fulfilling lives in a safe, nurturing environment.

Requirements include a full UK driving licence (2+ years) and an enhanced DBS check. Salary starts at £13.45 per hour, rising to £13.75 after 3 months, with apprenticeship and overtime opportunities

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients and residents.

  • Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
  • Safeguard those in our care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
  • Support service users with community-based activities and appointments, including driving when required.

Cygnet Group is looking for a compassionate and confident Day Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Nightingale.

Working full-time, 42 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, you'll play a vital role in helping the people we support live fulfilling, rewarding lives in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients and residents
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required
  • Safeguard those in our care
