Job summary

Cygnet Group in Halifax is seeking a confident Care & Support Worker to deliver person-centred care at Beckly House.

You will work full-time 42 hours weekly on a two-week rolling rota, including nights and alternate weekends, supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs to lead fuller lives. The role offers wellbeing perks, ongoing training, and a structured apprenticeship path.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings or healthcare environment is preferred.
• DBS check required for successful applicants.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs.
• Safeguard service users and maintain safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for all.
• Support access to the community for work, college, hobbies, and days out.
• Engage service users in activities like cooking and cleaning to promote independence.

Cygnet Group are looking for a confidentCare & Support Workerwith a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.

You’ll be working full-time42hours a week,12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends (4 shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), nights only,making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Beckly House.

Beckly is a specialist residential service in Shelf, Halifax - West Yorkshire, supporting people with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.
