Job summary

Codi Group Ltd is seeking a Support Worker (Relief) to work across our services in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Rhondda Cynon Taff. You will support individuals daily, assisting with personal care and activities, in a person-centred approach and in line with their wishes.

The role offers flexible shifts (days, evenings, sleep-ins, waking nights) with hourly pay of £13.45 and a sleep-in rate of £62.64 for an 8 hour shift.

Qualifications

  • Background in care or health settings desirable; full training provided.
  • IT, literacy and numeracy skills required.
  • Experience working in a team and customer service is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and wellbeing of the individuals we support.
  • Provide personal care and emotional support.
  • Medication administration.
  • Participate in stimulating activities.
  • Involving the individuals in a person-centred approach.

About the role

As a Support Worker (Relief), services you will work with the individuals we support closely on a daily basis, assisting them to live their lives to the full. You will assist them with all of their needs (including personal care) according to their wishes.
