Prosperity Care & Wellbeing in Gloucester is seeking an energetic and compassionate Support Worker to support a friendly man in his 20s who has a learning disability, autism and may exhibit challenging behaviours. We\'re looking for an enthusiastic and active Support Worker to support a friendly man in his 20s who has a learning disability, autism, and behaviours that may at times be challenging. He enjoys keeping active and has a great sense of routine, benefiting from encouragement and positive support to engage in activities and make healthy lifestyle choices.
He loves swimming, going for walks, visiting the gym, and going for a coffee in the community. He also enjoys being around dogs, so you\'ll need to be comfortable and confident around them.
Communication is unique to him and may include repeating lines from rap songs or phrases he has heard. He responds well to patient, consistent support and encouragement.
