Job summary

Cygnet Healthcare is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our team at Cygnet Morgan House. You’ll work 40 hours a week on day shifts including alternate weekends, delivering care to residents in a 5-bed independent living home.

We offer full paid training and induction, an enhanced DBS check, breaks, pension contributions and other benefits. Applicants should have at least 1 year’s experience in a learning disabilities setting and a compassionate, team‑oriented approach.

• Experienced for 1 year plus in a support setting working with learning disabilities.

• Caring and understanding with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs
• Report on medical & welfare needs as required
• Safeguard all patients
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all

Morgan House is a 5 bed, independent living residential home. A support home that offers a safe and comfortable environment that helps residents to meet personal goals and to fulfil their lives.
