Job summary

Liaise is looking for a dedicated Support Worker in Basingstoke to help residents live happy, purposeful lives. You will use provided training to assist with daily tasks, support social visits and outings, and keep records to reflect each person’s needs. Days shifts are available for male candidates.

We value compassionate, patient individuals with strong communication and safeguarding awareness who can plan and organise effectively. DBS check is part of the process.

Responsibilities

We are looking for caring people to join our fabulous team as a Support Worker or a Care Assistant full training and support will be given.

-Days shifts available for Male candidate

What you will be doing:

• Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks
• Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions
• Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home
• Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.

What we would like you to have to be able to do it:

• A basic understanding of care is beneficial
• Strong communication skills
• Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously
• Effective decision making and judgement
