Job summary

Liaise is hiring Support Workers to provide compassionate care in our home settings across the United Kingdom. We value Positive, Progressive and Personal support and offer full training and ongoing support to help you thrive in the role.

Day shifts available, and you’ll help with daily tasks, accompany residents on social visits, and maintain clear paperwork. We welcome applicants who care for vulnerable people and are committed to safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Empathy, compassion and safeguarding responsibilities are important.
• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise judgement in care scenarios.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills are required.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow training.
• A basic understanding of care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist those we support with daily tasks using provided training.
• Provide day-to-day support including social visits and days out.
• Maintain up-to-date paperwork for each resident.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and external organisations to support residents.

We are looking for caring people to join our fabulous team as a Support Worker or a Care Assistant full training and support will be given.

What you will be doing:

• Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks
• Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions
• Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the home
• Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home.

What we would like you to have to be able to do it:

• A basic understanding of care is beneficial
• Strong communication skills
• Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously
• Effective decision making and judgement
• Strong planning and organisation skills
• Achieves all Health & Safety standards
