Job summary

Vibe Care Agency is seeking experienced Support Workers in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. This flexible role fits around other commitments. No sponsorship is offered.

Ideal candidates have supported living experience and a caring, compassionate nature, with adults who have learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs, including epilepsy. You may work independently or as part of a team, and your reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience working for a social care agency or 6 months in a permanent support role.
• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
• Experience supporting individuals displaying behaviours that may challenge.
• Caring, compassionate and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical and learning disabilities, complex needs & autism.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Daily tasks may include personal care, meal preparation and daily activities.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' behaviour or health conditions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress.

We're looking for candidates who have experience in working in supported living settings, who have a caring and compassionate nature and enjoy working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex care & epilepsy.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
• Minimum 12 months experience working for a social care agency or 6 months in a permanent support role
