Job summary

Vibe Care Agency is seeking experienced support workers to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs in Oxfordshire. You would provide compassionate care, companionship, and practical support in daily tasks, helping clients stay independent and engaged in activities while attending medical appointments and community outings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism & complex needs.
• Minimum 12 months experience working for a social care agency or 6 months in a permanent support role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience supporting individuals that may display behaviours that challenge.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Dedicated, flexible, honest and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to individuals with a range of learning disabilities, complex needs & autism.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Support with daily tasks which may include supporting with personal care, meal preparation & activities.
• Promote independence and encourage individuals to do as much for themselves as possible.
• Accompanying individuals to medical appointments and community/social outings.
• Report any changes in individual's behaviours or health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of individuals interactions and progress.
