Permanent, Full time role, Blackpool.

The role:
- Lead and manage a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement person-centred care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Conduct regular team meetings and supervisions to promote team cohesion and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries.
- Support the recruitment, training, and induction of new staff members.
- Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the team and the wider organisation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading teams within Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above).
- Proficiency in personal care and support work for adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
