Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking committed Secondary Support Staff to support pupils across secondary schools in Dewsbury. You will assist with academic, social and emotional development, working closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive.

This temporary role offers daily pay and opportunities for continued CPD and local consultancy support through Protocol Education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service preferred or willing to obtain one.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development, working closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive.

Duties Include

• Supporting students during lessons and intervention sessions

• Assisting with behaviour management strategies
• Encouraging attendance, engagement, and progress
• Supporting students with SEND and additional learning needs where appropriate
