We are looking for a Support Services Team Leader to join our team based at Warminster Community Hospital. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you will lead and support the Frontline Team (Housekeeping/Cleaning Team and the Catering Team), conduct quality audits, build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure excellent service delivery across your area.

About the role
  • Location: This role is primarily based at Warminster Community Hospital. However, there may be occasional requirements to attend meetings or provide support at other sites in line with business needs.
  • Salary: £28,393 per annum
  • Shift Pattern: This is a 37.5-hour per week role, operating on a two-week rota: Week 1, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm; and Week 2, Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00am to 3:00pm. Flexibility is required, as occasional adjustments to working hours may be necessary to support team members working outside of these core hours. As a hands-on Team Leader, you may also be required to provide operational cover when needed.
  • Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • DBS check will be conducted and training will be provided
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
What You'll be doing
  • Independently plan and manage your time across multiple properties, prioritising operational demands while providing visible, hands‑on support to colleagues and customers.
  • Supervise, support and motivate frontline Soft FM colleagues (Housekeeping/Cleaning Team and the Catering Team)
  • Plan and allocate workloads, manage rotas, and ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, responding to operational needs
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for your team
  • Complete administrative tasks, including timesheets, stock ordering, audits, and compliance checks
  • Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience managing or supervising a frontline team, ideally within Soft FM or a healthcare environment
  • Previous experience working within a catering environment.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Strong customer service and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (desirable).
What we can offer you
  • 27 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday with the option to buy additional weeks leave.
  • A Smarter Working Policy, empowering you to choose the location of how and where you work according to your daily activities.
  • Training and development opportunities, providing opportunities for our colleagues to develop and progress their careers at all levels through our Professional Excellence Framework.
  • SMART Pension contribution into which the company will contribute up to 6%
  • A range of flexible benefits, including NHS retail discounts and Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • We have a great Colleague Assistance Programme and offer support for all areas of life.
