Job summary

NHS Property Services Ltd in Bodmin is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help maintain clean, safe, welcoming environments for patients, visitors and staff.

The role offers 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday early mornings, with a DBS check. You will work to cleaning schedules, support infection prevention, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service.

We're looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our team at Bodmin ITC, Bodmin Community Hospital - South West, PL31 2QT. About the role

• Location: Bodmin ITC, Bodmin Community Hospital - South West PL31 2QT
• Hours: 10 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.00am – 8.00am
• Standard DBS Check Required

What you'll be doing

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our healthcare environment remains clean, safe and comfortable for patients, visitors and colleagues.

Working in line with NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules, you'll:

• Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard
• Support infection prevention and control measures
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
• Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the site
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
