Job summary

NHS Property Services is seeking a Support Services Team Leader to join the Warminster Community Hospital team. The role oversees the Frontline Team, ensures service delivery, and drives quality across housekeeping, cleaning and catering.

DBS checks, driving licence and flexible hours are part of the package. The position is based at Warminster Community Hospital with a two-week rota and 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising a frontline team, ideally within Soft FM or a healthcare environment.
• Experience working in a catering environment.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong customer service and administrative skills
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and manage time across multiple properties, providing hands-on support to colleagues and customers.
• Supervise and motivate frontline Soft FM teams (Housekeeping/Cleaning and Catering).
• Plan workloads, manage rotas, and ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and respond to operational needs.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for your team.
• Complete administrative tasks including timesheets, stock ordering, audits, and compliance checks.
• Monitor team performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
