Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care in Buckie is seeking a weekend Support Practitioner to provide personalised support helping people to live independently and pursue meaningful activities.

Training will be provided; successful candidates may join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with support from our Training Academy.

Join our amazing #TeamHighland in Buckie as a Support Practitioner, working primarily at weekends. No previous experience is necessary – we’ll provide you with all the training and support you need.

We do ask that you’re flexible and able to attend occasional training, support and development sessions and team meetings during the week.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
