Job summary

Cornerstone Civil Society looks for Support Practitioners to help people in the Scottish Borders live independent and meaningful lives. You will work with a friendly team to support adults with a range of disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals and enjoy daily activities.

No formal qualifications are required initially; training is provided, and PVG checks and SVQ development are supported, with opportunities to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Must be kind, caring and compassionate with good communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop; confident with computers.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.
• Assist with daily activities, including meals and personal goals.
• Help with activities, events, outings and holidays as part of care.
