Job summary

Cornerstone is recruiting Support Practitioners to provide high-quality care across the Scottish Borders, including Galashiels, Hawick, Jedburgh, Melrose, St Boswells, Earlston and Tweedbank. You will work with adults with disabilities to help them live their lives to the fullest, with cooking activities, personal goals, and meaningful daily moments.

No prior experience is needed as full training is provided; join a friendly team and enjoy a role that makes a real difference while developing

Qualifications

• Kind, caring and compassionate nature.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Confidence in the use of computers.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities across the Scottish Borders to live their lives to the fullest.
• Assist with daily activities including cooking meals together and pursuing personal goals.
• Build real, meaningful relationships with service users and their families.
• Participate in a flexible, varied shift pattern including possible sleepovers and weekends.
