Job summary

Cornerstone in the Scottish Borders is seeking caring Support Practitioners to join a dedicated team. Roles are full-time, part-time, or relief, offering permanent positions and a chance to make a real difference every day.

You’ll support adults with disabilities across the Borders, helping them live life their way. Training is provided; PVG and SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare are supported as you develop.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team and on your own.
• Commitment to safeguarding and learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with disabilities to live independently and with dignity.
• Assist with daily activities, hobbies and community participation.
• Follow care plans and document observations accurately.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful team environment.
