Job summary

Cornerstone (Aberdeen) is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to help adults with disabilities live independently in the Scottish Borders, including Hawick. You’ll join a friendly, dedicated team delivering person-centred support across a range of activities and goals.

No previous experience is required as full paid training is provided, and there are full-time, part-time, and relief opportunities to suit different needs. We cover PVG costs and provide support for SSSC registration.

Qualifications

• Evidence of caring and reliability.
• Willingness to complete SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare.
• Commitment to joining PVG scheme and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Support adults in the Borders with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.
• Assist with activities such as cooking meals and trying new activities.
• Build meaningful relationships and contribute to a positive team environment.
