Job summary

Turning Point Scotland in Dundee seeks a Support Practitioner to assist adults with learning disabilities. The role may be full-time, part-time or relief hours, with a permanent contract and salary of £25,879–£26,843. Training provided and SSSC registration supported within 6 months.

IT skills are required and a compassionate, inclusive approach is essential. You will work to help individuals stay safe, access education and employment, and participate in daily activities, with modern training

Qualifications

• No previous working experience required; full training will be provided.
• Values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity are important to join the team.
• IT skills are required for all vacancies.
• Willingness to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to adults with a range of needs.
• Work 1:1 or as part of a team to help service users achieve personal outcomes.
• Encourage daily living activities, community involvement and wellbeing.
• Support service users with personal care and home life as required.
