Job summary

Cornerstone in Aberdeen is seeking a caring, positive person to join a small team supporting three adults with learning and physical disabilities in their home. No prior care experience required; full training is provided, including SVQ funding and PVG/SSSC registration support.

You will help with daily living, activities, and community outings, with varied shifts and a friendly, supportive team. You'll be part of a close-knit team in a homely environment that focuses on person-centred care and

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will fall into patterns of early mornings (from 0700 hours), days and evenings. Weekends, waking nights, sleepovers and public holidays will also form part of your work schedule on a rotational basis.

When working a sleepover, the sleep part of your shift isn’t included in your contracted hours. You receive £107.60 per sleepover worked.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy. If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
