Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a dedicated Support Practitioner in Erskine to help individuals with daily living activities, including medication support and personal care. The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork and strong communication to foster independence and wellbeing.

You will join a 39-hour week, full-time, permanent team with comprehensive in-house training and a commitment to inclusive, supportive care across Scotland.

Qualifications

  • Empathetic, caring nature and strong observation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Comfortable using computers and software essential for daily tasks.
  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently, with good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily living activities and support needs.
  • Provide support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
  • Encourage independence and help individuals work towards personal goals and outcomes.
  • Engage in activities and outings to support active participation and wellbeing.
