Job summary

Bessie Dunlop is seeking a part-time Support Practitioner to join a friendly team in Dalry. You’ll deliver person-centered support, assisting with daily living tasks and community activities while enabling residents to lead meaningful lives.

No prior experience needed; full training is provided and you’ll gain SVQ qualifications as you work. A UK driving licence with 1 year's experience is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience not required; full in-house training provided.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Willingness to complete SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with day-to-day activities and personal needs.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with household tasks.
• Support attendance at appointments and transport needs.
• Promote participation in hobbies, social activities and community events.
• Encourage staying connected with friends, family and local community.
