TRT Construction Services? Bessie Dunlop is seeking a positive Support Practitioner in Dalry, Scotland. Join a friendly team on a permanent, part‑time basis (30 hours per week) to provide person‑centred care and support with daily living tasks and appointments.

No experience needed—training will be provided, with funded qualifications as you work. You'll be part of a large, supportive team committed to meaningful lives for those we support.

Our fantastic #TeamBessieDunlop is looking for a positive and understanding person to join their friendly team as a Support Practitioner on a permanent, part‑time basis (30 hours per week).

What will you be doing?

As a Support Practitioner, you’ll provide tailored, person‑centred support with day‑to‑day activities and personal needs. This could include:

• Planning and preparing meals
• Helping with household tasks
• Supporting people to attend appointments
• Prompting with personal care and medication
• Supporting hobbies, interests and social activities
• Encouraging people to stay connected with friends, family and their local community

You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to get involved in the fun stuff! From trips to the cinema and theatre to meeting up with friends and enjoying tribute nights and local events, you’ll support people to make the most of their lives and do the things they enjoy.

Due to the needs of the service, for this role you will need a full UK manual drivers licence with 1 years experience on the roads.

Shift Patterns

We provide flexible, person‑led services that run twenty‑four hours a day, seven days a week. Shifts will typically be 9am-9pm or a waking night of 9pm‑9am. Waking night shifts are paid at your normal hourly rate, plus an additional payment of £20 per night.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre‑employment checks.
