Job summary

Jobtrain is seeking a part-time care and support worker in Bellshill to assist a gentleman with complex needs. You will provide person-centred support, help with daily activities, outings, and household tasks, and follow care plans with a calm and resilient approach.

Applicants should be comfortable in challenging situations, have relevant Health & Social Care experience (or transferable skills), and hold a full UK manual driving licence. Training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing care and support within Health & Social Care is ideal.
• Comfortable using tools to aid with communication.
• Able to follow routines and support plans.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written).
• Willing to drive; full UK manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to a gentleman with complex needs.
• Assist with outings, meals, and household tasks as part of daily routines.
• Maintain a calm, patient and consistent approach when behaviours are challenging.
