Cornerstone in Bishopbriggs is hiring full-time Support Practitioners to assist four individuals with learning disabilities and complex support needs. You will be part of a dedicated team, supporting daily living, outings, and meaningful activities.
No prior experience is required as we provide funded qualifications and comprehensive training, with a clear path to SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare through our Training Academy.

You will join a dedicated team of Support Practitioners providing support to 4 individuals who have learning disabilities and other complex support needs, including physical disabilities. The people we support have many interests such as enjoying new experiences, living life to the full, going on holiday, cooking, socialising and meeting new friends.
They will give anything a go including going to concerts, singing along to Abba, and going out for meals - no two days are ever the same.
No experience? No problem! We'll train you, pay you and support you every step of the way. You'll even gain funded, recognised qualifications as you work.
Our fabulous team provides tailored 2:1 support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Shifts are formed by early shifts, back shifts, sleepovers, waking nights, weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis. Shifts typically start at 8am, back shifts finish at 10pm with waking nights usually being from 10pm - 8am and sleepovers which are typically 10am-10pm.
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you're successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
