Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care in North Ayrshire is seeking female candidates for flexible part-time roles (16-30 hours per week) to support individuals with physical and learning disabilities in home and community settings. Training is provided, with funded qualifications available as you work.

Responsibilities

  • Shift patterns will usually fall into early shifts and backshifts. Sleepovers, public holidays and weekends are a requirement on a rotational basis.
  • Successful candidates will join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with support from the Training Academy.
  • If successful, you will need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will usually fall into patterns early shifts and backshifts. Sleepovers, public holidays and weekends would be a requirement on a rotational basis.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.

*For this position female is an Occupational Requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
