Job summary

The YOU Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to enable and empower clients in the New Forest area. You will travel across Hampshire to provide person-centred support in home and community settings, helping people learn new skills and access activities.

A driver’s licence and car are essential, with shifts including evenings and weekends as needed. We offer competitive pay, enhanced leave, pension contributions and extensive training.

Qualifications

Car driver with access to a vehicle and business insurance.
Willing to travel to work across Hampshire when required.
Experience of working with vulnerable people.
Understand and promote independence.
Good communication skills: verbal, non verbal, and written.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent, flexible, person-centred support across Hampshire in line with YOU’s values.
Deliver time-limited enablement to help someone learn a new skill in their home or community.
Provide community-based support to access volunteering, activities and social opportunities.
Assist with personal care, budgeting, housing support and daily living activities as required.
