Job summary

Minstead Trust is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to engage with individuals, inspiring fun and creativity while promoting independence and a fulfilling life in the New Forest area.

The role involves supporting health, wellbeing and daily tasks, working in teams or solo within the community, and building respectful relationships. A valid UK driving licence is essential; Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is desirable and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is desirable.
• Demonstrates empathy, integrity and reliability.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to meet goals in health, wellbeing and independence.
• Assist with personal, social and healthcare needs and keep records.
• Work as part of a team and also individually in the community.
• Act as keyworker for allocated individuals and promote dignity.
