Westfield Secondary School is seeking two Support Managers to lead a team delivering home care services to adults with short-term reablement needs. The role focuses on person-centred support and independence.

You will oversee care plans, manage resources, drive quality and work with partners and multidisciplinary teams across the city of Sheffield, with a flexible approach and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising staff in a social care setting.
• Experience supporting adults with complex needs.
• Knowledge of social care frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g. CQC).
• Ability to manage resources effectively and drive performance.
• Excellent communication and partnership working skills.

Support Manager - Home First Community (Short Term Intervention Team)

2X Grade 7 | 37 hours per week permanent

About the Role

We are looking to recruit 2 x37 hour enthusiastic and motivated Support Managers to lead a team delivering high-quality home support services to adults with short-term reablement needs.

In this role, you will play a vital part in helping people maintain independence and remain safely in their own homes through a flexible, person-centred approach.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and managing a team of Support Workers to deliver safe, responsive and high-quality care
• Overseeing support plans tailored to individuals, including those with complex or changing needs
• Ensuring services meet and exceed regulatory standards and best practice
• Managing resources effectively to support efficient service delivery
• Driving performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who can bring strong leadership and a passion for delivering excellent care outcomes.

You will have:

• Experience managing or supervising staff in a social care setting
• Experience supporting adults with complex needs
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of social care frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g. CQC)
• Ability to manage resources effectively and drive performance
• Excellent communication and partnership working skills
• Confidence in using IT systems to support service delivery
• Uk driving license, this post requires you to work with staff in the community across the city of Sheffield

Qualification:

• NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care and or management or willingness to work towards it
