About the role

Based in the Pontefract area. There is ample car parking. Ability to drive/commute to various sites in Pontefract is necessary. We are seeking caring staff members who, with additional experience and training, may become full-time or supply support staff.

Driving is ideal but not necessary.

About the school

The Support Worker role involves supporting school-aged pupils with additional needs, including ASD, PMLD, Complex Needs, SEMH, and MLD.

Requirements

• Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, registered to the Update Service.
• Have recent experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting within the last 2 years.
• Ability to obtain valid references from these roles.
• Commitment to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults; undertake thorough checks including an Enhanced DBS.

Salary

£80 to £100 per day, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
