Job summary

Templewood Recruitment is seeking Caring Care Support Workers for a brand new Supported Living Service in Uxbridge. Roles available full-time and part-time across various shifts, including mornings, evenings and days.

You will support vulnerable adults, promote dignity, and help with health and independence while working with a friendly team. We value empathy, motivation, and the ability to inspire service users toward independence, with ongoing paid training and DBS provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in care (ideally mental health or learning disabilities)
• Strong empathy and ability to support vulnerable adults
• Willingness to learn and develop in aSupported Living setting

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager and Senior Staff in daily housing unit operations
• Safeguard the rights and dignity of service users
• Help service users build confidence and manage mental health symptoms
• Promote service users' health and assist in medication administration
• Support service users to develop social skills and independent living

We have multiple roles available, on both a Full-Time and Part-Time basis and covering Morning, Evening and Day time working.

Key Features of the role

• Supporting the Manager and Senior Staff in day to day operations of the housing unit
• Safeguarding the rights and dignity of each Service user
• Supporting Service user’s to build their confidence, self-esteem and their ability to manage their mental health symptoms
• Promoting Service user’s health and assisting in accurate medication administration
• Supporting Service user’s with developing social skills and future independent living
• Someone with a minimum of 6 months' experience within the care sector, ideally within mental health or Learning Disabilities within a care setting.
