Job summary

Templewood Recruitment is seeking experienced and non-experienced Care Support Workers to join a Supported Living Service in Slough. Roles are available both full-time and part-time, with morning, evening and day shifts on offer, and include training and progression opportunities.

You will support vulnerable adults with empathy, promote health, assist with medications, and help develop social skills for independent living, while encouraging independence and dignity in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in the care sector
• Empathetic and compassionate
• Ability to support mental health and learning disabilities (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Manager and Senior Staff in day to day operations of the housing unit
• Safeguarding the rights and dignity of each Service user
• Supporting Service users to build their confidence, self-esteem and their ability to manage their mental health symptoms
• Promoting Service users health and assisting in their accurate medication administration
• Supporting Service users with developing social skills and future independent living
