Job summary

Templewood Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant for a Supported Living Service in Aylesbury. You will help vulnerable adults gain independence while supporting day-to-day housing operations and safeguarding rights.

We welcome candidates with empathy and motivation; both full-time and part-time roles are available across morning, day, and evening shifts. Training provided and DBS is arranged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in care sector, ideally within mental health or learning disabilities within a care setting.
• Even if you do not have formal experience in Care, but are compassionate, inspiring and highly empathetic, we would love to hear from you!
• Ability to support vulnerable adults toward gaining independence and building confidence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager and Senior Staff in day to day operations of the housing unit.
• Safeguard the rights and dignity of each Service user.
• Support Service users to build confidence, self-esteem and manage mental health symptoms.
• Promote Service users' health and assist in their accurate medication administration.
• Support Service users with developing social skills and future independent living.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for experienced and non-experienced Care Support Worker's to work in a Supported Living Service situated in Aylesbury. We have multiple roles available, on both a Full-Time and Part-Time basis and covering Morning, Evening and Day time working.

We are looking for people with experience with high levels of empathy and the ability to support vulnerable adults towards gaining independence. If you are someone who enjoys motivating and supporting other's and driving their development, then this could be the right move for you.
