Job summary

Newbury College is recruiting a Foundation Learning Support Assistant on a fixed-term maternity cover. The role is 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only), based at the Newbury College Campus. Starting ASAP, the salary starts at £17,150 (Actual) / £25,343 FTE, with pay dependent on qualifications.

You will provide 1:1 support and assist with group work, helping students develop life skills while supporting teaching staff to maintain a safe learning environment during term time.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE) or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with individuals who have additional needs.
  • Ability to communicate with Parents / Carers
