Job summary

Andover College in Andover (Hampshire) is recruiting Learning Support Assistants for Foundation or Mainstream provision. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week, 36 weeks per year) supports students with SEND, enhances access to courses, and works with staff to enable independence and success.

The role may involve personal care in Foundation settings; placement across Foundation or Mainstream venues can be chosen, with opportunities for CPD and professional development.

Qualifications

  • A good standard of education, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
  • A willingness to undertake further training and development
  • Experience of working with young people (ideally in an educational or care setting) is desirable but not essential
